We’ve been speaking to bloggers and asked them to share what the idea of a second chance means to them.

Second chances are things that tend to only happen in fairytales or the jammy people out there that have all the good luck! I used to think this was the case anyway!

I can see why I used to think that way and why others do. Sometimes a second chance moment is one of those things that you don’t notice until you sit and think about times in your life. I was lucky enough to have mine.

A few years ­ago, I went through a break up and with a 1 year old at the time I thought I was destined for a life as a single parent…until I got my second chance.

Let’s go back a few years when I was the ripe old age of 14, I met my first real boyfriend – we were amazing friends and ended up dating for 3.5 years. As we grew up we split up for one reason or another.

I went on to get married and he went on to move to London.

A year after my break up I went on to meet Matthew again and got my second chance at being with my best friend.

I would never believe we would have a second chance at being together and he is so amazing with Erin and would do anything for her! It’s like we have never had time apart and we still wrestle like children! We may bicker incessantly but he is and always will be my bestie!

I am very thankful for getting my second chance at love and I couldn’t think of anyone better to have it with!
